Short Artist Bio: Hello, friends!
My inspiration comes from a deep love of nature, wilderness and literature...especially the colors, landscapes, history and folklore of Scotland, where I was born. Combining nature’s constant change with the permanence of the written word intrigues me, and I often incorporate poems, traditional Scottish sayings and other literary quotes into my work. Custom pieces may be translated into Scots Gaelic upon request.

I'm an avid collector of interesting yarns, vintage fabrics, and buttons and have begun to incorporate these into mixed media pieces. When I’m not creating, you’ll find me on the trails with my dog, taking care of beehives, scouring flea markets and thrift shops for my next inspiration, or lending a hand at a local animal shelter.
