Short Artist Bio: Adelina Ruvalcaba is an interdisciplinary visual artist and curator based in the Pacific Northwest. She enjoys reading fiction and exploring nature with her partner and their dog. After moving away from home and grappling with her identity, she embarked on a path of rediscovery. Ruvalcaba’s creative practice highlights the labor of love that makes life enjoyable, especially the effort in the kitchen. She draws on her mixed cultural heritage and deep-rooted love of prehistoric art to create her fossil dinnerware. She elevates her work with interactive installations, welcoming viewers to join in celebration.
