Short Artist Bio: Mara Schwenneker is a ceramicist who works in both wheel thrown and sculpted forms, as well as being trained in drawing and painting. Highly interested in form and surface, Mara is inspired by nature and the human body. Her work celebrates both and explores the experience of living in a particularly female body in the 21st century.
