My design from start to finish incorporates much more challenging materials, significantly larger in size, and required complex assembly and installation skills.
Now that it is complete, it evokes pride of accomplishment as well as a moment of zen at every glance.

"Simple Perched Cardinal"
The first stained glass panel I ever attempted, using a simple, free online pattern that I only slightly modified to my liking. The primary purpose in doing this piece was to understand each step of the process, get comfortable with the tools and materials, working under the guidance of a professional instructor, while utilizing some of the most beginner-friendly glass for cutting and shaping.
