This is a depiction of my neighbor, who taught kayaking every Saturday morning in the floating community, sometimes going out in a morning mist. It is part of a new series I started recently called "Gold on the Water". In this series, I wanted to showcase my affinity for living on the water in a floating home (7 years) and for always being near water for the fabulous energy it gives us.

This is a depiction of Mt. Hood from the I-5 bridge, which was painted about 15 years ago, while I was living on a floating home (my home is in the painting near the bend of the river).
