Today, my art concentrates on the wonder and magic of nature. I focus on natural science illustration using a variety of media, including watercolor, colored pencil, acrylic, ink, graphite, charcoal, pressed flowers and plants, and fabric.

Self-Portrait 1963 • woodcut print • NFS
This is my one and only woodcut print done for a high school art assignment. (Barbara Wick, 1963) It is a self-portrait done in the Renaissance style of Lucas Cranach the Elder. He was a German Renaissance painter and printmaker (1472 - 1553) who is known for his portraits. He was a court painter to the Electors of Saxony for most of his career.
