Today

Look Beyond • Acrylic on canvas • 18 x 24 inches

$400

I painted Look Beyond during a period of transition, when certainty was absent but confidence in my ability to adapt was growing. The astronaut represents the instinct to move forward into the unknown, while the jellyfish reflects surrender, emotional depth, and trust in unseen currents. The piece explores the balance between reaching outward and letting go.

Someday We'll Sea (2002, Age 7) • Crayon on paper • 12 x 10 inches

NFS

I spent much of my childhood fishing on my grandparents’ lake in the Midwest. I didn’t know it then, but drawing an orca felt like a quiet hint at the life I would later build in the Pacific Northwest. Rediscovering this piece years later felt like coming back to something that was always underneath.
