5. Single check-out location. This year the club will offer a credit card machine for purchases. You may use the service, but it is not required that exhibitors do so. The RAA treasurer will send a check for profits from sales to each artist. Please allow up to two weeks to receive your check after the show.
6. Payment: a) Total payment must accompany this signed contract.
b) Check should be payable to Ridgefield Art Association
c) There will be no refund with cancellation. Forfeited funds will go to the RAA Scholarship Fund.
7. Move In/Out: a) Move in for the show: Thursday, May 6, 2010: 1:00 to 5:00 PM (set up by 5:00 PM to be included in judging)
b) Move out for the show: Saturday, May 8, 2010: 5:00 to 6:30 PM

9. Deadline: Deadline to apply for show participation is March 31, 2010. Applications and payments must be received by this date.
10. Booth Location: Please choose a first, second, and third choices of space from the enclosed chart. Locations are subject to availability, and the Show Coordinator reserves the right to place exhibitors in an appropriate area. Spaces will be allocated on a first come/first served basis, with priority given to members who attended the February 9, 2010 RAA meeting and signed an ‘intention to show list.’ Any special space needs requirements should be cleared with the RAA president and/or sign-up committee.
11. Exhibit Space:
12. Publicity: Publicity materials will be supplied by Ridgefield Art Association at no cost to exhibitors. All artists will be asked to help in addressing post cards to be mailed out. Invitations may also be sent via e-mail.
13. Rules and a) No exhibitor shall assign or share the exhibit space without the expressed written consent of the Ridgefield Art Association. Limit of 2 artists per numbered space.
Regulations: b) There will be no smoking allowed in the hall at any time.
c) No food or beverages may be served or sold without the express written permission of Ridgefield Art Association.
d) Ridgefield Art Association will provide a credit card machine for buyers. Each vendor is solely responsible for collecting and paying any and all sales or business taxes incurred at this show. Tax will not be added to the receipt - the exhibitor is responsible for including tax in his/her price. (8.2%) A 3% fee will be charged on all sales to cover cost of the machine.
e) The exhibitor will guarantee that either (a) their work is entirely original, or (b) if the work is not original (for any reason), the Artist guarantees that he/she is not infringing on anyone else’s rights.
14. Fire Code: By order of the Fire Marshal, all booth decorations shall be non-combustible or flame retardant. All extension cords used during the show must be commercial 3-prong grade. No home-style extension cords are permitted.
15. Liability & Exhibitor’s use of space provided under this agreement shall be at the Exhibitor’s sole risk of all loss and damage whatsoever.

17. Clean up: It is required that each exhibitor help clean up the hall after the show, sweep floors, shake out rugs, replace tables, chairs, and pictures to their required locations, etc. This should not take long if everyone helps.

19. Awards: All artwork installed by 5:00 PM on Thursday will be included in judging. Two categories: 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional.
There will be a 1st, 2nd, 3rd place award, and honorable mentions in each category. There will also be a Judge’s Choice Award, a People’s Choice Award, and Sponsors Awards.
