Patricia Thompson grew up in beautiful Alaska, where the great outdoors nurtured her creative spirit. For the last seven years she has made her home in Ridgefield, Washington
.
From an early age Patricia has been creating artwork in a variety of mediums, which include among others, paper, wood, fabric, paint, mosaic, charcoal and colored pencil. Most recently she has been working in pastels.
In 2008 one of her charcoal works ‘Transition in Light’ was published in Clark Colleges ‘Phoenix’, an art and literary publication. The same piece of artwork hung in their ‘2008 Student Art Show’.
Patricia is also a Custom Picture Framer. She specializes in the handcrafting of frames made with woods such as paduk, walnut, sappele, maple, oak, ash, alder and aspen.
