Pickled Heron Gallery presents:
Paul Joseph Lucas,Award winning artist, who will teach "Landscape Painting in Oil", a 20 hour class from April 19 to May 6th, 2009. Art Camps for Children and Adults: Mosaic Arts Alliance, Owner & Operator of the Sixth Street Gallery, Vancouver, Washington, www.sixthstreetgallery.com/The MAA's innovative operation of the gallery includes offering art classes for all ages and vacation and summer camps at the studio throughout the year. This is the first year a "Portfolio Day" is scheduled in April to benefit emerging and youth artists in the area who are interested in pursuing a career, additional training or a degree in some aspect of the arts. Several college admissions counselors will be in attendance. Students are encouraged to bring their portfolios, their questions and even their parents to this free event.

Location: Old Liberty Theatre (enter through Seasons), 113 North Main Avenue in Ridgefield. Class meets
at 6:00 pm for beginners - 7:00 pm for intermediate/advanced - $65 for eight weeks. Sign up at Seasons Coffee Shop, 113 North Main Avenue, register by email or

Ilia was a professional dancer for
twenty years and has been teaching for over thirty. She was Bellydancer of the
Year at the televised Seventh Veil contest in Hollywood, CA; was on several
television shows and in one movie. A few of her students have gone on to be
professional dancers, but her focus in class is on FUN!
