Teachers & Classes Create with Jean: Explore the possibilities of the Creative Arts. Jean O’Neil offers private instruction and guidance in a variety of techniques & projects including: watercolor, pencil, acrylic, collage, stamping, and mixed media. Jean is a certified art teacher experienced in all media with K-12 students, adult education, college portfolio preparation, and senior artists. She brings that knowledge to this private studio time. DJ Garrity will present a stone sculpture workshop beginning Friday, February 12 (5:30-9:30) and Saturday/Sunday, February 13 & 14th (9:00-4:30), 2010.The Artist, who served three tours of duty as Sculptor-In-Residence at Mount Rushmore National Memorial, has established an international reputation with his innovative programs.The workshop is accredited by AugustanaCollege for professional development, graduate or undergraduate credits. No previous experience is required and artists, art students and educators will receive a 15% reduction on the workshop fee of $235, which includes materials and use of tools.Space is limited.
